Another bridge in Kharkiv Oblast has been rebuilt!

Three years ago, in September 2022, Ukrainian defenders liberated the village of Velyka Komyshuvakha in Kharkiv Oblast.
Before the full-scale invasion, this town with a 260-year history was known for its powerful agricultural enterprises, but during the occupation, the village was almost completely destroyed.
Nearly everything was ruined—the school, kindergarten, community center, shop, post office, and village council administrative building.
Logistics are essential for rebuilding a community, but the bridge on the R-79 Road to Izium was also destroyed. The military restored a temporary crossing, but only for light vehicles.
In September of last year, our company began the complete reconstruction of the bridge.
• A temporary bypass was created.
• The remains of the old structure were dismantled.
• 12-meter piles were driven for the foundations.
• Approaches to the bridge, 300 meters long, were built and paved with an asphalt base course
• 33-meter beams weighing 34 tons were installed to avoid intermediate supports and save materials.
• The surface course was laid, along with guardrails, road lighting, two-meter-wide sidewalks, and a rainwater drainage system.
The main work was completed this spring. We were waiting for the project review to finalize the approaches. Last week, the asphalt base (as shown in the photos) and surface courses were laid on the approaches.
Full access to Velyka Komyshuvakha has now been restored. We hope that a decision will soon be made to restore some sections of the R-79 highway, which are currently in hazardous condition.
