Road maintenance and operation
Automagistral-Pivden maintains 25% of the total national road network of Ukraine.
The total length of roads maintained by the company exceeds 13,500 km. More than 100 road maintenance bases and nearly 900 employees are involved. The fleet includes 350 combined road maintenance vehicles and 220 units of other specialized equipment, including loaders, snow blowers and removal machines, motor graders, tractors with blades, and service vehicles.
Road maintenance is a comprehensive set of activities aimed at ensuring proper condition of road infrastructure. During winter, the key operations include duty shifts and patrolling, treatment of road surfaces with anti-icing materials, snow removal and clearing, as well as implementation of passive snow control measures to ensure safe traffic conditions.
During spring and autumn, Automagistral-Pivden’s maintenance units carry out pothole repairs, crack sealing, and elimination of other pavement defects and deformations. They also clean road shoulders, apply road markings, repair guardrails, install road signs, and perform all other necessary works.
In spring 2026, as part of routine road maintenance, the company carried out emergency repairs on sections covering an area of over 400,000 m².
The company’s leadership in the road maintenance segment is supported by its extensive network of bases, a large fleet of specialized equipment, experienced personnel, stockpiles of materials for winter road treatment, an efficient monitoring and control system, the capability to perform works of any complexity, and the use of modern technologies.
