At the Vita-Poshtova interchange on the M-05 Kyiv–Odesa highway
At the Vita-Poshtova interchange on the M-05 Kyiv–Odesa highway, we are currently reinforcing the structure of the viaduct’s central span and preparing for the placement of the cast-in-place concrete deck.
On the viaduct exit ramp (right carriageway), the lower asphalt concrete layer has already been laid. We are now installing parapet blocks, constructing monolithic sidewalks, and completing the drainage system for the retaining wall.
On the viaduct entrance ramp (left carriageway), construction of the reinforced soil retaining walls is ongoing, with the external faces being strengthened using concrete blocks. We are also building embankments and installing stormwater drainage collectors.
The project is progressing according to schedule, with the opening of the viaduct planned for the end of the year.
As a reminder, in the summer of 2025, our company completed the first phase of the Vita-Poshtova interchange project, including the tunnel and the roundabout on the Boyarka side. Since then, drivers have been able to make safe turns and U-turns towards Kyiv.
In the autumn of last year, the Client approved the implementation of the second phase of the project – a grade-separated two-level interchange (“horseshoe” configuration) designed to facilitate U-turns towards Odesa. This will finally allow the removal of the signalized intersection in Vita-Poshtova (near the Southern Cemetery), which has long been the site of numerous traffic accidents.
