Reconstruction of a 300-meter bridge in a recently de-occupied region is nearing completion!
The bridge, located on a regional highway, connects two oblasts. The structure was blown up at the beginning of the full-scale war, preventing the further advance of russian forces.
With no alternative crossings within a 50-kilometer radius, a temporary metal bridge was installed in early 2024. However, it has limited load capacity
and is not suited for heavy traffic.
In April 2025, Automagistral-Pivden began restoring the
destroyed 96-meter section of the original bridge. In reality, the company had to build a new structure – installing bored piles, 15-meter reinforced
concrete piers, cross bars, and a
monolithic concrete deck.
This week, the asphalt pavement was laid on
the restored part of the bridge and its approaches. The next steps are
installing lighting, safety barriers and road markings.
As a reminder, since the
beginning of the war, the war, Automagistral-Pivden has rebuilt over 30 bridges in
the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts. Thanks to the
company’s work, our country has restored key logistical routes essential for the life of the eastern regions and supporting our military.
