The district was left without gas and, accordingly, heating. In addition, the border area is constantly under fire. The dams across the Pechenez reservoir have been destroyed. Therefore, the connection of the border region with the regional center is only a detour – through Veliky Burluk and Chuguiv. But after the occupation and the military operation to liberate Kharkiv Oblast, the network of local roads is in a terrible state. Critical destruction, subsidence, inflows. Therefore, to ensure passage, our company carries out pothole repair and map repair here. In particular, on some sections of the T-21-11 Pechenegy-Veliky Burluk highway, we milled the top layer of the surface and installed a leveling layer of fine-grained ABS 6 cm thick (in case of destruction of the base, it was additionally dismantled and a layer of ShPS 0-40 20 cm thick was installed) . The total length of the object is more than 42 km. On two sections of the regional highway T-21-14 Prykolotne-Veliky Burluk-Dvorichna, work was carried out on loosening the base, mixing with the addition of new material SHPS 0-40 and laying a coarse-grained layer of ABS 12 cm thick. Similar works are still ongoing at T-21-04 Kharkiv – Vovchansk – Chugunivka control point. The completion of the facility depends entirely on weather conditions. In the south of the region, the company continues the construction of a temporary crossing near the village of Stepok on the regional highway R-79 Sakhnovshchyna — Izyum. Earth embankments of approaches on both sides of the crossing have already been created. A two-point reinforced concrete pipe with a diameter of 1.5 meters is being installed. Difficult weather conditions affect the pace, but the work continues, because the highways of Kharkiv Oblast are the real arteries of life, on which the provision of the war-affected region rests.

The project of construction and reconstruction of the M-3 highway is being completed. In the coming days, we plan to commission the first section, 54 km long. The second section, 21 km long, will be completed by mid-December.

The delivery of the third section, 11 km long, is scheduled for the spring of 2023. The road is open, but the installation of edge drainage trays, strengthening of roadsides and slopes is still ongoing.

We would like to remind you that work on the 85-kilometer M3 highway “Kyshiniv-Djurdzhulesti” began in 2019. “Automagistral-Pivden” has created a production base in the city of Vulkanesti, where an asphalt concrete plant and a soil mixing plant are located. During 2022, the company built 7 kilometers of road, and on another 4 kilometers, the expansion and installation of auxiliary road structures was carried out.

The project in Moldova provided for the creation of all the necessary accompanying infrastructure of the highway – these are new, modern car pavilions, lighting, pedestrian paths, parking lots.

The first section of the project (km 96+800 — km 151+200) with a length of 55 km includes nine bridges.

Two other sections: km 151+200 — km 171+290 and km 179+650 — km 190+750) In total, “Automagistral-Pivden” restored almost 85 km of this highway in three years. The project is financed by the EBRD.

The first snow and ice in Ukraine: from the night before, the maintenance service “Automagistral-South” has been actively working on the roads of Lviv Oblast, Kyiv Oblast, Chernihiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Not only the equipment works, the workers manually process the above-ground pedestrian crossings, public transport stops, and sidewalks with anti-icing materials. 537 tons of sand-salt mixture and 37 tons of salt were used per day!

We prepared in advance for the arrival of winter: warning signs were installed for drivers, local reserves of sand and salt mixture were created in dangerous areas with difficult terrain. Snow nets and shields are installed to prevent snow drifts.

Supplies from SE “Artemsil” have been stopped, but in the near future, thanks to the diversification of supplies, our operating bases will be 100% supplied with the necessary reagents. In the arsenal of operators there are 262 combined road vehicles, 135 units of other special equipment – loaders, screw-rotary snow removal machines, motor graders, dump tractors, technical vehicles, etc. 700-800 employees are involved in winter maintenance.

This winter season, “Automagistral-Pivden” provides operational maintenance of roads in 7 regions with a total length of more than 6.1 thousand km, using 79 production bases. ✅ Kyiv region: 1160 km of highways of national, regional and territorial significance of the region. ✅ Chernihiv region: 470 km of state roads. ✅ Odesa region: 647 km of highway M-05 “Kyiv – Odesa” and M-15 “Odesa – Reni”. ✅ Kharkiv region: 266 km of roads M-29 “Kharkiv – Pereshchepyne” and M-18 “Kharkiv – Simferopol – Alushta – Yalta”. Sumy region: 186 km of highways of state and regional importance. ✅ Dnipropetrovsk region: 2,850 km of highways of state importance. ✅ Lviv region: 567 km of highways of national, regional, territorial and international significance.

Ruins and ashes: the Russians left behind in Kharkiv Oblast completely destroyed cities, mutilated forests, mutilated roads, and blown-up bridges. The region has not yet been completely liberated. Fierce fighting continues closer to Luhansk region. But infrastructure is already being restored, our road and bridge builders are working tirelessly. They work, risking their lives, because the land of Kharkiv is literally littered with mines and unexploded shells. They work in extremely difficult conditions.
Since the beginning of the war, 24 artificial structures have been destroyed in Kharkiv Oblast. Work is ongoing on most of them. Temporary detours have already been arranged at many facilities. In particular, four crossings were built by our company. The enemy dreamed of rejecting Ukraine in the Middle Ages. But the skill and tenacity of Ukrainians is amazing! Instead of the destroyed bridges from the Soviet period, many of which were already “tired”, rebuilt, modern and much better quality buildings appeared DURING THE WAR.
One of our facilities in the Kharkiv region is a bridge over the Siverskyi Donets River (route M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskyi, Chuguyiv city). Back in July, a crossing and a bypass road with a crushed stone surface were built nearby, and our company also took part in the works. In September, our specialists additionally installed culverts at the crossing, because there was a risk of flooding the dam – the structure created in the summer could not cope with the increase in water flow. Dismantling work began in October. The length of the bridge is more than 180 meters. The structure was built at the beginning of the 50s of the last century. Therefore, it was decided to dismantle not only the span structures, but also the supports.
Dismantling work is difficult and responsible. The height above the water level is more than 10 meters, there is a risk of destruction of structures that were damaged during the blasting. The construction of the new bridge is planned for 2023.
We have no doubt that the new building will be better, more reliable and more modern. And Ukraine will win and become much stronger!

At the same time, we take care of keeping the highways in passable condition, which actually support the provision of the region. In particular, the next phase of emergency repair works on the regional highway P-69 Kyiv – Vyshhorod – Desna – Chernihiv has begun. In the spring, two temporary crossings near the destroyed bridges were built here, as a result, the highway turned into the main logistics route for freight transportation between the capital and the regional center.

The road surface in many areas was in an unsatisfactory condition – the road was planned to be completely repaired in 2022 within the framework of the “Major construction” program. Emergency repairs were already carried out here in the summer. About 20 areas were repaired with a continuous layer of asphalt concrete. Our company also took part in the repair work.

Now the work continues in other areas. The total length of the “maps” is 6.5 km, the total length of the repair section is 17 km. Two layers of asphalt concrete are laid – leveling and top – 8 cm thick. It is planned to finish the work by the end of November.

Two significant, historical events in the Kyiv region at once!

Yesterday, we opened the right-hand drive on the bridge over the Trubizh River on the Kharkiv Highway (M-03 Kyiv – Kharkiv – Dovzhanskyi).

Today we are launching traffic on the right side of the bridge in Stoyanka on the Zhytomyr highway (M-06 Kyiv-Chop).

For the first time in Ukraine, after the Russian invasion, large strategic infrastructure facilities were rebuilt. ❗️ Important! We did not restore old buildings that were built in Soviet times. Bridges are built according to modern technologies and meet modern requirements.

Implementation of projects of this scale in record time during the war(!) is a victory for our company. Evidence of professionalism and high motivation of our team. More details about each of the objects.

We have already told in detail about the history of the bridge in Stoyanka. https://www.facebook.com/automagis…/posts/5612549058803218 Back in May, we restored left-hand traffic according to a temporary scheme. The structure of the two new spans of the left part consists of metal supports and beams. A monolithic slab 25 cm thick and a 6 cm layer of ABS on modified bitumen are arranged on top. The right-hand drive is a capital structure with five spans over 80 meters long. Also, the 100-meter approaches to the bridge were actually rebuilt, because the geometry of the bridge structure has changed.

Unfortunately, with the opening of the right lane, it will be necessary to partially limit the movement of the left side, narrowing the lane to one lane. The reason is cracks in the supports on the three spans that remained from the old bridge. It appeared that the structures were also partially damaged during the blast. Specialists will decide the further fate of the left lane, most likely it will have to be dismantled and a new bridge built according to the example of the right lane.

The bridge over Trubizh near the village of Borshchiv on the Kharkiv highway was also blown up at the beginning of the war to prevent the enemy from breaking through to the capital. The length of the building is 93 meters. Three running structures were destroyed and two were damaged. Back in April, our company arranged a temporary detour and began dismantling the emergency structures. The bridge was completely dismantled.

Construction was carried out according to a standard scheme: installation of bored piles, supports, grates, nozzles, crossbars and other structures, installation of reinforced concrete beams (8 units for each span). The next stages are a reinforced monolithic slab 22 cm thick, waterproofing, two layers of asphalt concrete, monolithic sidewalks with an anti-slip and waterproof coating, a metal barrier fence, a handrail fence.

The approaches to the 150-meter-long bridge have been completely replaced, because the structure was built a long time ago and did not meet modern requirements for first-category highways. The new bridge and the approaches are wider, so it was necessary to completely dismantle the road surface on the sections of the approaches directly adjacent to the bridge (53 meters each). On the rest of the approaches (97 meters each), only milling was carried out and the leveling and upper layers of asphalt concrete are being arranged. The right lane of the bridge is currently open. On the left, a monolithic slab is arranged, work on the approaches is ongoing. We plan to fully open two lanes of traffic by the end of November.

The restoration of both bridges means the full operation of the strategic transport corridor from the western border to Kyiv, Poltava, Kharkiv. We are proud that it was our team that had the opportunity to implement these important projects!

In general, “Automagistral-Pivden” bridge builders are working on the restoration of dozens of infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

We work for Ukraine, we work for Victory!

The delegation of “Automagistral-Pivden” visited the BAUMA 2022 international exhibition of construction machinery, transport, equipment and mining machinery.

For the 33rd year in a row, the Munich trade and exhibition center Messe has been collecting the most advanced and innovative examples of construction machinery. Each of the world’s leading manufacturers, as always, tries to surprise and impress visitors. One of the main international trends is the abandonment of internal combustion engines. Excavators, rollers, concrete mixers, dump trucks and other battery-powered machines are now able to complete a work shift without recharging. At the same time, manufacturers do not forget to improve traditional engines – they become even more economical, powerful and environmentally friendly. The trend towards increasing the role of artificial intelligence continues. The functionality of the operator is narrowing, more and more complex processes are performed by automated control systems.

This significantly increases the efficiency and quality of construction works. As a result of the war, the infrastructure of Ukraine suffered huge destruction, a large amount of work carried out by “Automagistral-South” is related to the dismantling of damaged structures. Therefore, our delegation was particularly interested in modern machinery and equipment for dismantling and processing elements of destroyed structures. It was also important for us to familiarize ourselves with the tunnel construction equipment.

After the end of the war, this direction will be one of the most promising in Ukraine. As noted by the general director of our company, Mykola Timofeev, “Automagistral-Pivden” has always been a leader in the introduction of new technologies on the Ukrainian market. We continue to keep our finger on the pulse, follow innovations, trends, the appearance of new models of technology. All this will definitely be needed for the post-war reconstruction of the country. It is symbolic that the exhibition in Munich began almost simultaneously with the fifth German-Ukrainian business forum, where the concept of rebuilding Ukraine was discussed. The main message of the event is that it is necessary to prepare specific long-term recovery plans, in which Germany and German business, in close cooperation with Ukrainian partners, intend to play one of the key roles.

Investments in Ukraine – capital investment in the future member of the EU.

Our team won the football charity tournament organized by the Road Service of the Odessa region!

7 teams took part in the tournament – contractors and customers of works (Odessa Region Highway Service and Local Roads Service).

In the final match, our employees literally snatched victory from the RDS team. Motorway-South lost 0:1, but 40 seconds before the end equalized the score and as a result won at the end of the penalty shootout.

Funds collected thanks to the tournament will be sent to help the Armed Forces. The charity tournament is dedicated to the Day of road workers and motorists, which we will celebrate next weekend. The event is a continuation of charity sports competitions held by the Road Services of other regions of Ukraine. In particular, football tournaments were organized in the Dnipro, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. The highway service of the Kyiv region initiated a kayak competition among representatives of 11 road companies. Charity sports events were held in Cherkasy, Poltava. “Automagistral-Pivden” has been providing enormous assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Batches of clothing, ammunition, body armor, various technical equipment, auto parts, etc. were regularly transferred and are being transferred to the front. More than 650 employees of our company joined the ranks of the Armed Forces.

The bridge in Ivanovka on the M-01 highway was destroyed during the occupation of Chernihiv Oblast. A bypass was built next to it in the spring. And they even arranged a layer of asphalt concrete on the bypass road. Over time, the destroyed structures were dismantled.

There was an opportunity to rebuild the building. The bridge is small: 18 meters long, 13 meters wide. In the process of reconstruction, 9 reinforced concrete beams and a 20 cm thick monolithic slab were installed. The washing fence is installed. In addition, the road structure on the two approaches to the bridge, 60 and 120 meters long, was completely replaced. Layers of shingles (15 cm) and shingles reinforced with cement (17 cm) are arranged.

On one side of the road at the approaches to the bridge and on the bridge itself, coarse-grained dense ABS (12 cm) is installed. From today, traffic opens on this side.

At the same time, we are starting to install ABS on the other side of the road. After that, there will be the last stage of work – the upper layer of the SCM on the entrances and on the bridge (5 cm). Ivanivka is just one of our facilities in Chernihiv Oblast.

Far from the biggest. Reconstruction of the region’s infrastructure is ongoing.

The installation of a layer of asphalt concrete on the 1.7-hectare large vehicle parking area and transition-high-speed lanes has been completed. It remains to mount the lighting system, apply markings and install a barrier fence. Replaced the top layer of the pavement at the roundabout. The checkpoint plays a very important role in the connection between Ukraine and Poland and other partners of our country.

Therefore, nothing should interfere with traffic on this route. We will remind you that our company completed the main works at the checkpoint back in the summer. Modernization was carried out as part of the “Open Border” project. It was launched by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the President of Poland Andrzej Duda. “While the usual trade routes are blocked due to the occupation in the east and south of Ukraine, we are developing others in the west. The higher the throughput capacity of the Ukrainian-Polish border, the faster agricultural products and fuel and lubricants go,” noted Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.

As a result of the works carried out, the carrying capacity of the Korchova-Krakowets point increased by at least 50%.

At the end of September, the company completed the reconstruction of the bridge over the Psel River in the village of Byshkin, destroyed during the occupation.

That greatly simplified the connection of Lebedyn and other communities with the regional center. Now it’s time for the emergency repair of the territorial highway T-19-09 in the direction of Sumy. In several sections, the old pavement is in terrible condition, the road may soon become impassable.

On a 1.2 km section, we are loosening the existing surface, leveling the road profile without adding new material and placing a leveling layer of fine-grained asphalt concrete 7 cm thick. Sumyshchyna is under constant shelling almost every day from the border with the Russian Federation.

Peaceful people are dying. But life goes on, and roads are one of the important conditions for ensuring life in the region.

Traffic on the strategic route M-06 Kyiv-Chop will finally be fully restored!
Let’s recall the story: the bridge was blown up at the beginning of the war. Thanks to this, the advancing Russian columns were unable to advance towards the capital. The enemy was blocked and eventually destroyed. In April, Kyiv Region was liberated, and our company began work on restoring traffic on the M-06 highway.
The left lane was restored first. The structure of the new span structure consisted of metal supports and metal beams. A powerful and reliable 25 cm thick monolithic plate and a 6 cm layer of ABS on modified bitumen are arranged on top.
Traffic on the left lane was opened in record time at the end of May. It was the first rebuilt bridge structure in the country since the beginning of the war!
In contrast to the temporary constructions of the left passage, major repairs were planned for the right passage, and in fact, the construction of a new bridge with a length of more than 80 meters. During the implementation of the project, our company performed the following stages of work: – Dismantling of span structures of the existing bridge – Dismantling of supports (only the old grates and piles remain) – Construction of bulk technological islands in the Irpin riverbed – Installation of 20 piles with a diameter of 1.6 meters and a depth of 22-30 meters, which were combined with the existing – Arrangement on supports of grids, nozzles, crossbars and other structures – Installation of reinforced concrete beams (9 pieces for each span) – Installation of monolithic transitional slabs 8 meters long and 40 cm thick – Reinforcement of the 22 cm thick monolithic slab of the roadway, concreting with preliminary installation of expansion joints. – Application of waterproofing under overhead pavements. Installation of stone curbs. Reinforcement of the framework of sidewalks with embedded under the barrier fence and under the lighting masts – Pouring sidewalks with monolithic concrete 20 cm thick – Complete dismantling of the road surface to a depth of 92 cm on the approaches to the 100-meter-long bridge (surface drainage in front of the bridge was impossible, because an interchange is being built nearby, so it is necessary to install a storm drain under the carriageway) – Construction of approaches: arrangement of a layer of sand – 30 cm, ShPSS C5 – 21 cm, ShPSS S-7, reinforced with cement, 15 cm thick. Three layers of asphalt concrete – coarse-grained dense (10 cm), coarse-grained dense on bitumen modified with polymers (10 cm) and the upper layer of ШЧМА (5 cm).
The main works still remain: – Arrangement of waterproofing and arrangement of the lower and upper layers of ABS on the carriageway of the bridge – Application of a special protective coating on concrete monolithic pavements, which gives the coating the necessary roughness – Installation of a barrier fence.
The opening of the left lane of the bridge in Stoyanka will significantly increase the capacity of the M-06 highway, one of the main logistics routes that connects Kyiv and the eastern regions with the western borders.
We did not just restore the old bridge, which was expanded and completed at different times. The new design meets all modern requirements and has a significantly higher load-bearing capacity.
As usual, the “Automagistral-Pivden” bridge builders worked quickly and very professionally!

We built a crossing over the Lozovenka River.

On the site of the destroyed bridge, approximately 30 meters long, a three-point water culvert with a meter diameter is installed, on top of which there are layers of STP (20 cm) and milled material (10 cm).

From now on, the connection between the regional center and the northern regions, which suffered as a result of prolonged hostilities and occupation, will be much more convenient.

Currently, “Automagistral-Pivden” is replacing the surface on the 855-meter section of the Kharkiv bypass road. It was in this direction that the most active hostilities took place. The coating is badly damaged due to the movement of heavy military equipment. Life in the region is coming to life, traffic on the bypass is gradually increasing, which accelerates the destruction of the highway. In winter, the track may become impassable. Therefore, repair is a forced and critically necessary measure. We are currently carrying out cold milling of the destroyed top layer of the coating. After that, a new layer of fine-grained asphalt concrete 8 cm thick will be laid. At the same time, drainage trays will be cleaned. We will remind you that last year “Automagistral-Pivden” carried out the ongoing average repair of the Kharkiv bypass road. The bypass was included in the top five of our facilities for 2021. Work continued on two sections: km 472+040 – km 493+400 and km 493+900 – km 516+400 from the transport interchange near the city of Pisochyn in the direction of Donetsk region. The total length of the plots is more than 41 km. In 2022, it was planned to finish the work on the organization of road traffic and arrange drainage facilities. On the site where we are currently working, it was planned to carry out capital repairs, build additional lanes and equip the intersection with traffic light regulation. For reference: The Kharkiv Ring Road is 82.7 km long and is a strategically important transport corridor for the city. The highway is part of one of the country’s largest highways – the M-03 “Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskyi” route.

It is planned to complete the last two sections in the upper layer by mid-November – 188-190 km and 152-154 km. The bottom layer of asphalt concrete has already been installed on the first, and 200 meters of covering remains to be installed on the second. The pace is determined by a very difficult terrain: it was at this location that the company carried out huge earthworks and raised embankments up to 12 meters high. Work is ongoing on the installation of edge drainage trays and strengthening of roadsides and slopes. At the same time, the bridges (151 km and 170 km) and the lighting system are fully completed. It remains to install several public transport stops. Apply markings and complete two roundabouts – installation of curbs, paving slabs. Weather permitting, everything will be done before the end of this season. 🚧We would like to remind you that work on the 85-kilometer stretch of the M3 “Kyshiniv-Djurdzhulesti” highway began in 2019. “Automagistral-Pivden” built a production base in the city of Vulkanesti, where an asphalt concrete plant and a soil mixing plant are located. In 2022, 7 kilometers of road will be built “from scratch”, an additional 4 kilometers will be expanded and auxiliary road construction will be planned. ✅The project in Moldova involves the creation of the accompanying infrastructure of the highway – new, modern car pavilions, lighting, footpaths, parking lots. ✅The first section of the project (km 96+800 — km 151+200) with a length of 55 km, including nine bridges, is almost completed. ✅On two other sections (km 151+200 — km 171+290) and km (179+650 — km 190+750), where reconstruction is planned, finishing works are still ongoing. In total, “Automagistral-Pivden” restored almost 85 km of this highway in three years. The project is financed by the EBRD.
