Recreation and Wellness in the Carpathians: Our Company Continues to Support the Country’s Best Youth Handball Team, “Automagistral-Pivden Ivanivka”!

“We once again felt the support of people who genuinely care about our boys. Thanks to the company, which consistently supports young athletes, and personally to Yurii and Oleksandr Boiko, an opportunity was found to organize a wonderful recreation and wellness programme for the team at the beautiful Emeli Resort. Thank you for helping children remain children, play sports, dream and win during these difficult times,” said the team’s coach, Serhii Latushkov.

According to Serhii, for the children this is much more than just a holiday. It is an opportunity to regain their strength, take a break from air-raid alerts, spend time together, enjoy positive emotions and return to training with renewed energy.

This week also brought another important achievement for the team — our boys were awarded the title of Candidates for Master of Sport!

We sincerely congratulate the Ivanivka team on this achievement!

After their holiday, the team will travel to Horodenka, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, for a training camp to prepare for the new competitive season.

Let us remind you: “Automagistral-Pivden” has been supporting the “Automagistral-Pivden Ivanivka” team for many years. The village of Ivanivka in Odesa Region is the native home of the company’s founders, and many of our specialists also come from this area.

Serhii Latushkov, a coach at the local Youth Sports School, dreamed of creating the best children’s handball team in the region — and perhaps in the entire country. The Boiko family enthusiastically supported this idea.

“For children from a small town, sport is a path to a bigger world. I am grateful to the Boiko family for taking us under their wing. The team has been provided with uniforms and sports equipment, and they support us with trips to training camps and competitions,” says Serhii Latushkov.

For four consecutive years, “Automagistral-Pivden Ivanivka” has become the Odesa Region champion among youth teams. In 2023, the team travelled to Denmark, where they won a prestigious international tournament featuring more than 350 participants. Last year, the Ivanivka team won an all-Ukrainian competition in Bucha, where 22 teams from across the country competed.

At the end of last year, the company presented the young athletes with another gift — a complete set of sports equipment, including mid-season jackets, tracksuits, two sets each of match and training uniforms, polo shirts, backpacks, sports socks and professional match balls.

In 2026, our sponsored team won the Ukrainian Youth Handball Championship in the 2011–2012 age category.

In the final stage of the tournament, held in Odesa and Uzhhorod, the Ivanivka team defeated eight of the strongest youth teams in Ukraine. Among them was an experienced Kyiv-based team that brings together promising players from across the country and develops talent for the national team.
