M-09 Road: Reconstruction of the Bridge in Rava-Ruska Nears Completion

The reconstruction of the M-09 road between Lviv and the Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne border crossing includes 10 bridge structures:

• 6 bridges (18–24 metres) are being reconstructed with complete replacement of their structures.

• 4 bridges are being replaced with reinforced-concrete culverts.

Works at 9 structures have already been completed, and traffic has been fully restored.

We are now completing the works on the last bridge in Rava-Ruska:

• 9-metre deck slabs have been installed on two spans (pictured). Reinforcement of the cast-in-place deck slab is underway.

• Construction is underway on a 66-metre reinforced-soil retaining wall with gabion boxes.

By the end of September, we plan to complete the cast-in-place deck slab. All major works on the bridge in Rava-Ruska are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
